Inside Mount
Provide exact window opening dimensions with NO deduction.
- For Roller shades/Zebra Blinds, Window depth >=2"
- Fore Roman Shades, Window Depth >= 1 3/4"
A tiny light gap exist on each side, for premium blackout please choose outside mount
Inside Mount Width
Because not all windows are perfect rectangles, pls measure the window in three places: Top, Middle, and Bottom, with special attention to the TOP width.
Use the Smallest measurement as your ordering width.
Order the exact width without any deductions. Our fabricators will make the necessary deductions ( 3/16" to 1/8") to ensure your shades fit perfectly within the window frame.
Inside Mount Height
Measure the height on both the left and right sides of the inside frame.
Use the longest measurement this time.
Outside Mount
Provide exact size of your overall shade, Not the window.
- For Roller shades/Zebra blinds, Add a minimum 1 1/2" to width as the fabric is narrower than the roller head.
- For Roman shades, the fabric width= overall width
Outside Mount Width
Measure how wide you want your whole shade to be and This is your ordering width.
Fabric width will be 1" narrow than ordering width for Roller shades/Zebra blinds.
If space allows we recommend to add 4”-6" to width to help eliminate light seepage.
Outside Mount Height
Measure 3” above the window opening, down to where you want the shade to sit.
The order height will include the valance head height and bottom bar height.
